{"id":328,"date":"2023-07-13T13:39:12","date_gmt":"2023-07-13T13:39:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/outsidecon.org\/?page_id=328"},"modified":"2026-07-17T16:13:22","modified_gmt":"2026-07-17T16:13:22","slug":"archery-competition","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/outsidecon.org\/?page_id=328","title":{"rendered":"Archery Competition"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udff9 OutsideCon Archery Competition<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Hosted by Marc Michael<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>When:<\/strong> Saturday afternoon, ~3pm<br><strong>Where:<\/strong> The shooting range<br><em>Path is to the right just before the lake<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>BYOB \u2013 Bring Your Own Bow!<\/strong> This is a <strong>Traditional Archery<\/strong> competition only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udccb Competition Rules<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Bow types:<\/strong> Long bows, recurves, etc. only<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Not allowed:<\/strong> Compound bows, sights, or stabilizers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Rounds:<\/strong> Shooting at 10, 15 &amp; 20 yards at standard bullseye targets<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udfaf New to Archery?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There will be an area for newbies who want to try it out just for fun. Experts will be on hand to assist and teach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SPECTATORS WELCOME AND ENCOURAGED!
